A LIFE-changing diagnosis spurred on a young entrepreneur to follow her dreams and start her own business.

Emily Holt opened Forest Elf in Cotesbach seven week ago.

The shops sells a range of vintage clothing and accessories, as well as decorative pieces for the home handmade by Emily.

Emily, 32, decided to open the boutique after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which she is still fighting.

She said: “It was the real kick I needed to do what I want and follow my dreams.”

The shops in Stable Yard, Main Street, is open Tuesday to Sunday. A vintage fashion show will take place on November 26.
