A BILTON estate agent holds the key to helping local schools by raising much-needed funds from house sales.
Sara Cuddihy, director of Harrington Estate Agents, said the business wanted to give something back to the community.
She came up with the idea of donating money to schools from property sales.
Sara said Harrington’s is a new business which wants to establish itself in the area by helping the people who live in it.
Sara said: “We understand the need for schools to raise funds and we want to help them do this. We have spoken to every school in Rugby to let them know about the scheme and many of them have distributed leaflets to parents to inform them.”
She said Harrington Estate Agents understand the need for schools to raise extra money and how much time and effort this can take.
“We also appreciate how much the school and pupils benefit from this fundraising,” added Sara.
“As well as donating £100 to the nominated school, Harrington’s will beat any fee offered by any local agent without compromising on our service - which includes advertising on all the major property websites, floorplans and phone lines being open from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week.”
Sara added: “We have had a fantastic start to 2012 seeing levels of interest in buying and selling homes increase significantly.
“The team at Harrington Estate Agents are looking forward to going from strength to strength whilst helping local schools raise much required funds.
“Our aim is to donate as much money as possible to local schools.”
Harrington Estate Agents is at 16b The Green in Bilton.
