Dozens of firefighters tackle barn blaze in Willoughby

SIX fire engines were called to a barn fire in a village near Rugby.

Four engines from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and two from Daventry were called to a barn fire in Woolscott Road, Willoughby, on Thursday (June 30) at 1.37pm.

The barn was described as ‘well alight’ and firefighters were on the scene for a number of hours as it contained a number of cylinders.
