A driver failed to stop after colliding with a car at a junction in Rugby and injuring a woman.

The incident happened at 10.35am on Friday December 19 at the island junction of Murray Road and Clifton Road in Rugby.

A woman driving her silver Nissan Primera came into collision with what is believed to be a silver Ford KA on the island.

The driver of that vehicle failed to stop.

The woman driving the Nissan sustained minor injuries and attended St Cross Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses are asked to call Warwickshire Police on the non-emergency number, 101, quoting incident reference number 112 of December 19 2014.
