Drugs and a weapon found during police raids in Rugby

RAIDS carried out in two Rugby homes this week have resulted in police finding drugs and weapons.

On Monday the Rugby Town North Safer Community Team carried out a warrant in Brownosver after intelligence was gathered on a specific address.

During a search of the property officers found cannabis, two tazer weapons and a can of pepper spray. A man at the property was arrested.

The team has also reported that it carried out a warrant in the Benn area of Rugby and during the search of the property a large amount of heroin was

found along with a number of suspected stolen items.

The occupant of the property was arrested and for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, theft of a pedal cycle and three burglaries.
