Keep your eyes and ears peeled as Dunchurch gets ready for an invasion.
Next week will see all manner of military vehicles heading there for the Tanks, Trucks and Firepower Show.
The hugely popular event takes place off the A426 just south of the village for the Saturday to Monday of the August Bank Holiday weekend, August 27-29.
Each year adds something new to the occasion and this year’s is on track to be the biggest yet with more than 200 military vehicles on display and stalls and other entertainments galore.
The Alvis Fighting Vehicles Society will be out in force but there will be wide range of vehicles to look at and see in action, plus the live firing displays each day and the special firing of guns of all sizes at noon.
There is plenty on offer for all ages, with people going for a day or making a weekend of it and camping.
Tickets can be bought online now at: www.tankstrucksandfirepower.com
Overlapping with this year’s show is the latest event from Mini Military Mud Run, with runs on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There was a huge turnout for a similar event in April and places for this one must be booked in advance of the weekend at: http://minimilitarymudrun.co.uk/booking/
