FORMER EastEnders and Extras star Shaun Williamson opened Bilton Junior’s School and Community Fete last weekend.
The fete is billed as one of the biggest in the borough and attracted scores of people from Rugby and beyond.
The day was opened and attended by Shaun Williamson, who played Barry Evans in the soap opera and appeared as himself in the Ricky Gervais sitcom.
It’s the school’s second such fete, after one of the biggest bashes Bilton had ever seen was held last year at the Plantagenet Drive school. The fete was open to the whole community and had countless attractions and stalls for families and children of all ages. The proceeds from the event will go to school funds.
Mr Williamson was invited to open the fete by a pupil at the school.
