With great food, cool retro fun and the greatest soundtrack in town, Ed’s Easy Diner has screeched into Rugby.

Based at Elliotts Field, Ed’s serves a slice of 1950’s Americana with a friendly smile and sound tracked by classic hits from the Dime Selector juke boxes.

Open everyday of the week, tuck into an array of Diner classics that come fully loaded and cooked to perfection.

Here’s what you’ll find at Ed’s Easy Diner on Leicester Road:

> Sunny Side Up! Breakfast at Ed’s

Ed’s will put a pep in your sleepy step every morning with a selection of brekkie favourites. Whether you want to start the day with a stack of fluffy pancakes, a slice or two of sweet French Toast or a lighter bite in the form of yoghurt and granola, Ed’s has you covered. Leap out of bed with a rumbling belly at the prospect of the ‘Full Ed’s’ with all the classic ingredients or savour the spicy Mexican Breakfast Burger with egg, hash brown, salsa and guacamole.

> Straight from the States

Delivering the best of the US, choose from a tempting line-up of 16 tasty burgers for the main event. Keep it classic with the Original featuring fully traceable farm-assured beef with lettuce, tomato, onion and dill pickle, up the ante with the Chilli Cheese or maybe the Big Bubba’s Bacon ‘n’ Cheese will bowl you over – don’t miss the ‘Burger of the Month’ special either! Got a humdinger of an appetite? Delve into the Ed’s Plate Combo featuring your choice of main plus fries, coleslaw and onion rings.

Veggies will dig the Chickpea and Quinoa burger; poultry fans will go clucking crazy over Ed’s Chicken and Bacon BLT; and there’s a gourmet hot dog for almost every day of the week. Salads will satisfy those in search of a lighter bite, including the Chicken Dijon with chicken breast goujons, bacon bits and honey and mustard dressing.

> Junior Bites

Got the little ones in tow? Ed’s’ Junior Bites menu is perfect for filling tiny tums with burgers, puppy dogs, crispy chicken tenders and mini moo milkshakes. Tantrums and tears are sure to be kept at bay whilst they’re absorbed in their activity sheets and donning mini chef hats.

> Going Without Gluten

Ed’s offers a GF-accredited gluten-free menu – meaning people with coeliac disease can now enjoy 85% of the same dishes. Ed’s is proud to be the first burger chain to be accredited by Coeliac UK, the national charity for people with coeliac disease, and gluten-free diners needn’t miss out with the new menu, which includes unique gluten-free hot dogs.

> Sodas, Shakes, Beers, Malts

A variety of sodas, beers and floats provide the ideal accompaniment to the menu, but be sure to check out one of the world-famous handmade shakes and malts. Served in metal shakers and supplying two glasses per serving, choose from a range of flavours including Oreo, butterscotch, peanut butter, mint chocolate and new Lotus Biscoff. There’s no excuse not to indulge, especially when they’re now available as ‘skinny’ with 95% less fat. Grown-ups can seriously indulge with alco-shakes in flavours of Dark Rum and Chocolate; or extra creamy Baileys.

> Rock Around the Clock

Neon lights, monochrome tiling and comfy red leather booths really set a retro scene at every Ed’s Easy Diner. What’s that sound? Ed’s cherishes the classics, blasting out the sounds of the Fifties as chosen by you from genuine, retro Dime Selector juke boxes and every penny per play goes to Action Against Hunger.
