HIGHER education students are settling into life at Warwickshire College and have been enjoying activities organised as part of Freshers’ Week.
Students from across the six centres, including Rugby, came to Leamington for Fresher’s Fair last week, enjoying live music, free food, games and inflatables and a range of stalls with advice and information.
Students geared up to match their skills against each other in competitions including swingball, ‘gladiator duel’ and the ‘human wrecking ball’. Students at the Moreton Morrell centre will also enjoy a Bavarian Beer Party later this week and a ball later this month.
Animal Welfare student, Ben Edwards, said: “College is fantastic with just the right facilities. I chose the college because we learn in smaller groups which makes it easier to get to know people.”
Equine Science student, Charlotte Hall, said: “The Moreton Morrell centre is lovely, with great facilities and I can’t wait to start my course. I have already met lots of people and everyone is really friendly.”
