They are taking part in the Operation Christmas Child appeal and their boxes contain toys, books, toiletries and other items as a surprise for youngsters who will have little Christmas joy in their lives.

Teaching assistant Kerry Finch organised the box collection and said: “Our pupils learn about caring for one another and helping those less fortunate than themselves. Supporting Operation Christmas Child is a great way to put these values into action. The boxes may be small but they will bring great joy to underprivileged children.”
