Emergency services called to York Street fire in Rugby

Two fire crews from Rugby station were called to a house fire in town this morning (Friday).

An emergency call was received at 2.20am this morning to a house fire in York Street, Rugby.

Firefighters used specialist equipment to tackle the fire in the lounge area of the house.

Three people were treated by the ambulance service after suffering from smoke inhalation.

The Red Cross Fire Emergency Support Vehicle also assisted at the fire.
