Exciting Wunderkammer exhibition opens at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum

A vibrant and exciting exhibition has opened at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.

A collection of artists known as The Tantalus Project have put together the Wunderkammer exhibition.

The term means ‘wonder chamber and the artists have interpreted the theme in a variety of ways.

Artist Pete Thornley, spokesman for Tantalus, said: “As usual Tantalus artists have produced exciting and diverse works which will create debate from viewers.”

The exhibition can be viewed at Floor One, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.

Jess Litherland, senior exhibitions officer at the art gallery, said: “Rugby Art Gallery and Museum is always pleased to see Tantalus exhibit at their annual show and the idea of an exhibition looking at the Wunderkammer is very exciting.”
