Charitable children at Long Lawford primary have been kept busy with their annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal, as well as raising £165 for the Philippines and £282 for Children in Need.
Headteacher Robert Morrissey said: “Each year we get a tremendous response from everyone in our school community. This year we received one of our highest totals ever – 91 shoeboxes. Our key aim is to be an achieve, care and enjoy school - or ACE for short - and this appeal is a major part of that. In recent weeks the children have done a fantastic job raising funds.”
