THE countdown to Christmas has officially begun at a Rugby garden centre.
Father Christmas arrived in style at Blooms Rugby Garden Centre on Saturday in a horse drawn carriage with his elves and was greeted by all of the families who attended.
The staff also dressed up in festive outfits.
The Christmas grotto also opened on Saturday and children were queuing up to meet Santa.
Carole Berry, manager of the garden centre, said: “We were delighted that Father Christmas took time out of his busy schedule to come along to the garden centre. The grotto is part of our Winter Wonderland experience. Children will be able to take a journey through the magical setting and visit Father Christmas.”
Entry to the grotto, including a present, is £7 per child and £1.50 for adults. It will be open every weekend from now until December 23.
On December 20 and 21 the grotto will be open from 1.30pm until 4pm, and on Christmas Eve from 10am until 1pm.
