Cancer sufferer may get drugs in dramatic U-turn

IT'S the news that Rugby cancer-sufferer Russ Jones has been waiting months to hear.

Russ, 63, has been told by that he can have the life-prolonging drug Sutent funded for him by Warwickshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) providing a scan result that he has next week is successful.

The news comes after Russ saw his previous application for the 3,500 a month drug rejected by the PCT.
