Rugby cycle shop closed after fire

THORNTON'S Cycle Centre in Rugby has been gutted by a fire.

The blaze broke out at the shop in Cambridge Street at around 1.30am this morning (Friday).

Shop owner Dave Thornton said the shop is completely gutted and he has lost all his stock.

The shop is closed until temporary premises can be found.

The blaze started after a bin caught fire and it quickly spread to the shop.

Rugby firefighters attended the scene to help put the fire out.
