WHAT IS IT? Festivals of Christmas Trees.
WHERE AND WHEN IS IT?
St Andrew’s Church and St Botolph’s church in Newbold, until December 23
WHAT DO THEY SAY ABOUT IT?
Christmas seems to have crept up especially fast this year, and anyone who’s yet to get into the swing of things might want to see the colourful, creative Christmas trees on display at St Andrew’s Church in the town centre. Admission is free, but donations will go towards the county’s air ambulance.
According to Janet Haynes MBE, who is on St Botolph’s church committee, the festival is being enjoyed by guests of all ages. At St Andrew’s there are 50 trees to enjoy.
