WHILE many estate agents are saying the market is difficult or buyers are in short supply, Fine & Country is bucking the trend and enjoying great success in selling properties above £450,000.

Fine & Country in Rugby has sold 53 per cent of the properties above £450,000 between January and June 2012 in Rugby and the surrounding villages.

It specialises in selling homes in the upper quartile of the property market and have seen continued growth in their
market share.

Sam Funnell, branch manager, said: “I am really pleased with our results so far this year and fully expect them to continue during the rest of 2012. The office has seen a significant rise in transaction levels, contributed by our rise in market share.”

He said the secret of the company’s success could be down to a number of things.

“Our marketing is creative, unique and provides maximum exposure for our properties,” said Sam.

“We also offer local, regional, national and international coverage. For example this year we have had several property exhibitions via our London office which have certainly helped in exposing our client’s property to a wider and affluent audience. However despite the coverage, I have to say that the experience and hardwork of the team in Rugby have clearly contributed to such a great success.”
