Fire crew rescues toddler trapped at home in Hillmorton

Firefighters had to rescue a toddler whose head became stuck between spindles on a flight of stairs in Hillmorton yesterday (Tuesday).

Crews were called at 4.56pm to the incident in Featherbed Lane. One fire engine from Rugby attended and released the two-year-old boy using cutting equipment.

The crew had returned to the fire station by 5.33pm. The child was unharmed and left in the care of his mother.
