RUGBY’S largest fireworks display is set to be bigger and better than ever as it moves to a new location in town.

Now at Whinfield Recreation Ground on Saturday November 3, the annual Fireworks Spectacular organised by The Rugby Round Table is set to be bigger and better than ever.

With the ongoing development of the Ken Marriott Leisure Centre it’s not possible for the annual event to be held Whitehall Recreation Ground this year.

However the new venue provides even more opportunity for a bigger and better display than ever with more room for spectators, bigger fireworks and easier access and entry to the park. The organising team will also have a better sound system,

Gates will open at 5.30pm, entertainment from Rugby FM and live acts start at 6pm and the fireworks go off at 7.30pm. There will also be food stalls.

This year tickets are available in advance online at a reduced price of just £3 per ticket. Tickets cost £5 on the night. All profits go to local charities and good causes.

Some of the town centre car parks will be free from 5pm on the night with a shuttle bus service to help people get to the venue. There will also be some road closures around the park. Whinfield Rec is on the corner of Clifton Road and Butlin Road.

Online tickets will be available until 3pm on November 3. To buy your reduced price tickets and for more information visit rugbyfireworks.co.uk.
