Award-winning Newman Estate Agents is holding a First Time Buyers day at their office at 1 Regent Street, Rugby on Saturday September 29 from 10am to 3pm.

First-time buyers will be able to get free advice on buying their first home and take advantage of some special offers.

“Many first-time buyers wish to find out how much they can borrow, what the monthly repayments will be and what other costs are involved in buying their first home,” said mortgage advisor Paul Reynolds. “We will have mortgage advisors on hand to answer these and other questions about the whole process of buying a home”

“This really is an excellent time for first time buyers to buy a home,” said Yousaf Hussain, branch manager at Newmans “Prices have fallen since 2007 and are now at rock bottom with many commentators saying they are set to rise in 2012.

“Interest rates are at an all-time low too, making buying a property even more affordable.

“It really is surprising how many first-time buyers believe they cannot get a mortgage or that they will need a 30 per cent deposit. The reality is as long as buyers have a good credit history there are 90 per cent and 95 per cent mortgages available.”

As a further bonus, Newman Estate Agents is offering £100 off its conveyancing fees for any first-time buyers who attend the event as well as £95 off the cost of a survey.

The firm says first-time buyers will be able to pop in, with no appointment necessary, and have all their questions answered in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Yousaf added: “If you are currently looking to sell, or thinking about selling, and believe your property is ideal for first-time buyers, we would be interested in talking with you.

“We have a number of property marketing advisors that are able to advise you on solutions to selling your property.”
