CHILDREN celebrated faith week at Knightlow primary by dressing in the garb of their favourite Bible characters.

As part of Faith and Values Week, pupils also delivered hand-made prayer cards to every family in Stretton-on-Dunsmore. Headteacher Jill Vasasour said the week was a huge success.

“This was a chance to celebrate our church school ethos and for the children to really think about the difference their acts of kindness can make to others.

“We also had the chance to receive the Coventry Cathedral Cross of Nails which is visiting every church school in the Coventry Diocese.

“We had a lively procession through the village, and the children made, wrote and delivered a prayer card to every house in the parish.

“The ideas for costumes were absolutely amazing and showed that the children really do know their Bible stories.”
