Four injured in Bretford collision

Police have issued a call for witnesses following a serious collision in Bretford on Sunday afternoon

At approximately 4.40pm a black Jeep Compass and a blue Kia Venga were involved in a head-on collision on the B4455 Bretford.

The passenger of the Kia, a woman in her seventies, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

The driver of the Kia and the driver and passenger of the Jeep were all taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire by land ambulance.

The road was closed for several hours whilst emergency services worked at the scene and was reopened just before 8.30pm.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision. Call PC Rachael Treadwell on 101, quoting incident 304 of May 8.
