A FUN day held in memory of a popular Newbold boy has raised £755 for charity.
It took place at the Barley Mow pub in honour of Joe Spooner, 15.
He died from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome and, since then, his parents have raised money for SADS UK.
Joe’s dad Stephen said: “It was a brilliant day and it was great to see everyone having a good time for SADS in memory of Joe.”
He has just presesnted a life-saving defibrillator to the community from previous fundraising efforts.
