Fun in the sun was had by visitors to St Oswald’s Primary School at the weekend.
People flocked to the school’s fete on Saturday to enjoy the many attractions and raise funds.
Headteacher Hilary Lorimer, said: “It was really good, an absolutely fabulous day.
“The sun was boiling hot but everybody put a tremendous amount of work in and helped raise £1,200.”
There was face-paining, go karting and refreshments.
“I would like to thank the Friends of St Oswalds and everybody who supported the fete in any way,” added Mrs Lorimer.
“It was a brilliant amount to raise for school funds.”
