Funky white men? Judge for yourself

AFTER funking up Rugby’s Christmas lights switch-on and Whitehall rec on Bonfire Night, White Men can’t Funk return to the Vault on Saturday March 10.

And anyone who’s seen them will agree that watching the quartet is one of the best experiences a night out in this part of the Midlands can offer. It’s hard to describe exactly why watching four talented musicians squander their talents churning out funky covers of cheesy songs is so much fun - but it is; seeing a crowded room react to the opening bars of Mark Morrison’s 90s classic Return of the Mack is truely an experience to behold. The band contains members of Rugby bands including Go Primitive, Whisper in the Riot and No Remote.

Other songs in their repertoire feature 90s favourites from Craig David, Shaggy, Michael Jackon and television show South Park.

Supporting acts on the evening will be grunge covers band Alice’s Pearl Garden and Rugby’s Logic and Faith. The evening is for anyone aged 14 or over.

Turn up on the night from 8pm or order online from vault.ticketleap.com
