Award-winning artist Sarais Crawshaw will be opening her studio to the public later this month.
Visitors will be able to enjoy her drawings and paintings of beautiful creatures and sumptuous landscapes, created in acrylics, pastels, papercuts and woodcuts. Sarais has twice won the coveted Christopher Parsons Award at the annual exhibition of the Wildlife Art Society International.
Her studio, at Appletrees in the village of Willey, will be open the on weekends of June 29 and 30, July 6 and 7 and July 13 and 14 from 10am to 5pm.
There will also be a chance to see sketchbooks, reference material and work in progress, watch demonstrations, and hear some of the stories behind the pictures. Prints and greetings cards will be for sale, with prices of originals ranging from £30 to £1,000. The winner of a raffle will receive a limited-edition print.
