Glee Club comes to Rugby

FOLLOWING on from the hit TV show ‘Glee’, the County Music Service (CMS) are setting up their own show choir for young people aged 11 to 18 to perform popular hits across the decades.

With a mixture of dance and singing the Rugby CMS Glee Club is aiming to be a big local sensation and youngsters from the area are invited to be a part of it.

CMS Area Manager, Jeremy Dibb said: “Our junior choir started in September already has 16 members aged 7 to 11.

The idea for the Glee Club came from students in our music theatre groups and I am sure it will become just as popular.”

The Glee Club is one of a range of exciting musical opportunities available for Rugby young people. Once established, it will take place at Avon Valley School on Saturday mornings during term time along with the choir, and music theatre group which meet
