A DAY of beauty, pampering, shopping and fundraising will be held at a Rugby boutique next week.

Terracotta is hosting the event on March 8 to raise money for Oxfam and celebrate International Women’s Day.

An interior designer is donating her time to give room makeover advice to customers, while beauticians will offer women pampering and beauty treatments with their fees being donated to Oxfam. There will also be tea, cakes and a silent auction at the event from 2 to 7pm.

Diana Griffiths, owner of Terracotta in Bank Street, said: “We wanted to work with ladies to help other women who are less fortunate than ourselves.

“We are all guilty of taking our lives a bit for granted but we can realise that compared to others we are so lucky.”
