There was big turnout at Rugby Wellbeing Centre on Tuesday to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.

Rugby mayor Sally Bragg joined other well-wishers, supporters and members of the Mind team at the Cromwell-Road venue to mark the special occasion with the planting of a jubilee rose bush, a look at the wide-ranging services on offer and a glimpse of new developments.

The charity started off in the city before extending its work to Rugby and now offers a range of services to support people of all ages.

Among them are the drop-in sessions at the Wellbeing hub on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, one-to-one appointments and encouragement for people to discover the Five Ways to Wellbeing. Outreach work includes its bus, seen most Mondays outside Rugby Library and also at other points around the town. For more on what’s on offer, go to: www.cwmind.org.uk
