MONEY has been raised in Rugby in memory of a woman who died from a brain condition.

Grant Scott wanted to help the National CJD Surveillance after his mother-in-law lost her life to the disease in 2005.

He has just presented £2,817.75 to the charity.

Mr Scott, who is an associate director at chartered insurance broker Cowens Surival Capability, held a series of fundraising events including an auction.

He said: “The charity is close to my heart and it’s fantastic to hand over a large amount.”
