A GRANT from the Big Lottery will help fund activities for older and vulnerable people in Rugby throughout summer.
The money has gone to Warwickshire Support, who will be starting more new projects in the Rugby area over the next few months including ones involving Rugby Community and Voluntary Action (Cava). The new schemes inlcude helping people to grow their own vegetables, promoting healthy eating and promoting community spirit throught the town’s support network.
The director of Warwickshire Support, Darren Guy, said: “We see ourselves very much as part of the local community and recognise that the support we offer is part of a wider network of services with like–minded goals.”
