THE Gruffalo brought smiles to the faces of youngsters in Rugby.
St Marie’s Catholic Primary School pupils enjoyed a Gruffalo day in their new surroundings, after a suspected arson attack at the Dunchurch Road site.
Sarah Stevens, chair of the PTA said: “They had a fantastic time mask making, cake decorating and taking part in other Gruffalo activities. The highlight of the day was a reading of the Gruffalo from storyteller, Hannah Fieberling. All the children loved it and haven’t stopped talking about their visit from the Gruffalo.”
The infants were temporarily moved to the junior part of the school last week after the fire.
