WOULD you like to learn some cake-making secrets from a royal cake maker?
An afternoon of tea and cakes with Dawn Blunden is taking place at the Claremont Centre, in Clifton Road, Rugby, on October 16.
The event is being hosted by Age UK Warwickshire and features a talk about her work with the royal family, including how she baked the wedding cake for Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. How she got the commission and how she managed to keep the assignment secret has been described as ‘compelling listening’.
There will also be a chance to taste the royal cake recipe.
Tickets, which must be booked, cost £10. The event is in Clifton Road and runs from 4pm to 7pm.
