A RUGBY supermarket has donated more than £500 in recent week to good causes in town.

Myton Hospices received a cheque from Sainsbury’s for £480 after employee Rachel Fordham took part sponsored in the Moonlight Walk in September.

The money will go towards the running costs of the three palliative care hospices in Rugby, Warwick and Coventry.

The supermarket has also made a donation to the Hoskyn Day Centre For The Disabled in Bilton Road.

This donation will also help with the running costs of the centre which is open to physically disabled people helping them to avoid social isolation and providing home cooked meals and social activities.
