A family is appealing to the public after their beloved dog went missing in Rugby at the weekend.

Three-year-old Freddie (pictured above) went missing in Shakespeare Gardens on Saturday, May 21 at 6.30am.

Owner Linda Marie Straeten explained: “My husband was putting Freddie and our other dog back in the car after a walk when they both ran off. We think they must have seen something and chased after it.

“He found our other dog but Freddie didn’t come back.”

Freddie is a staffordshire bull terrier with a full tail and is microchipped with up to date details.

He is neuteured and was wearing a black collar with green bones and a blue harness with an ID tag when he went missing.

Owner Linda added: “We just want him back. Me, my husband and my son, we all miss him so much.

“We’ve had search parties going out in the area and have shared the posters on social media but so far we’ve had no luck. No phone calls or anything.”

Anyone who has seen Freddie or knows of his whereabouts should call Linda on 07551 525806.
