FIREFIGHTERS were called to two fires in Rugby this morning (Friday).
The first alarm was raised at 12.40am when Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in a kitchen at a house in Spring Street.
First aid was given to one person suffering smoke inhalation.
The second emergency call came at 4am when one crew from Rugby was called to a fire at the recycling bank in Featherbed Lane.
The fire which was located in an electrical recycling unit.
Although the fire was quickly extinguished, there was some fire damage to the large metal containers on the site. The recycling bank was closed at the time of the incident.
