IF YOU’RE over 45 and employed then you’re more likely to wake up hungover than anybody else, according to Warwickshire County Council.
For alcohol awareness week this week the authority’s substance misuse team is encouraging people to look at their drinking habits and some of the reasons behind them.
Throughout the week, the team will be tweeting their top tips on drinking safely. Follow them at
@safeinwarks and join in the conversation.
Perhaps surprisingly, research released in time for Alcohol Awareness Week has found that people are more likely to drink if they are employed.
Paul Hooper, Warwickshire County Council substance misuse manager, said: “The theme for the Alcohol Awareness Week has given us the opportunity to start some conversations about drinking and to give everyone an opportunity to consider their own behaviour.”
