Hunt for fans who verbally abused train passengers

Police want your help to find these football fans who caused disruption on a train from Rugby to Birmingham New Street.

The Tottenham Hotspur supporters verbally abused other passengers, swore repeatedly and banged alcohol bottles against tables and the sides of the train.

Officers would now like to speak to these men about the incident, which took place on Sunday May 12.

British Transport Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify and trace the men in these photographs as they believe they will have information which can assist the investigation. Investigating officer PC Natalie Davies said: “Enquiries have been ongoing to trace those responsible for this unacceptable behaviour.

“After reviewing CCTV footage, I would now like to identify the men in these photographs as I believe they will have information which can assist police. I believe they were Tottenham Hotspur fans travelling to a match at Stoke.

“Do you know who they are? If so, I’d urge you to contact us straight away.”
