Jewellery and personal belongings were stolen after thieves targeted a car parked at Draycote Water near Rugby.

The red Vauxhall Corsa was parked at Draycote Water on Tuesday last week while the owner went for a run.

She put her valuables in the boot of the car but when she returned she realised they had all been stolen.

Thieves had smashed the passenger window and ripped up the parcel shelf to get into the boot.

They took the contents of her handbag including her purse, cards and money, along with house keys, a white Fossil watch and Pandora bracelet.

The incident happened between 1.30 and 3.30pm on March 11.

Witnesses or anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
