Kingsland Road singer Connor Conaboy from Rugby will take to the stage for the first time this evening to perform live in front of millions of people.
Connor - whose real name is Joe - will be supported by his family who will travel from Rugby to London to watch the live show.
It is thought the theme for the nights is 80s.
Kingsland Road will be performing against 11 other acts across four different categories. From now until the final in December acts will rely on the public vote to get them through each week.
Earlier this week Connor’s mum Vicki Street urged the people of Rugby to get behind her son, who went to Bawnmore infants, Bilton junior and Bilton high school.
Vicki said: “They are genuinely a nice bunch of lads. They are very down to earth and that will hopefully go in their favour.
“We need everyone in Rugby to get behind them.”
Kingsland Road - featuring Josh, Connor, Thompson, Matt and Jay - made it to the final 12 acts in the competition after wowing the four celebrity judges at the auditions and bootcamp.
Mentor Gary Barlow then picked them to go to judges’ houses in New York where he put them through to the live shows.
The boys have spent the week doing live TV and radio interviews, as well as rehearsing for the show tonight.
The boys will perform this evening with the results announced tomorrow night (Sunday).
