THE 12-week consultation on proposals for huge changes to libraries in Rugby and the rest of the county will end today (Thursday).
Residents are now being urged not to miss out on the opportunity to join more than 4,000 people who have already responded to the consultation, which is about plans to close several libraries - including Dunchurch - and reducing opening times at others, including Rugby.
On Thursday last week a special event was held at Warwickshire College in Rugby for people interested in running their own library.
Around 30 people representing areas across the county from across the county attended th esession.
All consultation questionnaires must be handed in by the end of the day today (Thursday).
The consultation aims to give people the opportunity to have their say on plans to reshape the library network and cut costs.
More information, along with the library consultation questionnaire, is available in all libraries in the county. Further details can also be found online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/facingthechallenge.
Consultation progress can also be followed via Twitter.
