CHINESE visitors have spoken of their ‘amazement’ at Lawford Primary School.

The five Warwick University students were learning about British teaching methods and helped children with their Mandarin lessons. They are in the UK for three months and have travelled from Shenzhen, which is in China’s Guangdong Province.

A statement from the teachers read: “We are all amazed by your school and we all think that your school is a very good one.

“It left a deep impression on our minds.”

Headteacher Rob Morrissey said: “Because of the links with our sister school in China, the children are always excited when we have guests from the country.”
