A great night for Rugby business

Eleven prizes were up for grabs at as the cream of local companies battled it out at Friday night’s Rugby Business Excellence Awards.

The black tie event at Dunchurch Park Hotel was attended by civic dignitaries, including the Mayor of Rugby Cllr Ramesh Srivastava and leading local business figures, who saw Rugby Fitted Kitchens take the top prize of Overall Business of the Year.

The evening included entertainment from Britain’s Got Talent stars Stavros Flatley and more than £3,000 was raised for the event’s chosen charity, the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

Customer Care Award: Winner - Cafe Vin Cinq; Finalists - Bellabambini, The Road Ahead

Innovator of the Year: Winner - Sticky Prospect; Finalists - Cadman Homes, March Hair

Town Centre Outlet of the Year: Winner - Titu Boutique; Finalists - Get Stuffed Café, Roman

Green Company of the Year: Winner - Manor Farm Shop and Tea Rooms; Finalists - Nocks Recycling, Rugby Tap

Community Investment of the Year: Winner - Mister Robinson’s – the Barber Shop; Finalists - FRS Staff Solutions, That’s Shoe Business

Team of the Year: Winner - Rugby Fitted Kitchens; Finalists - Automotive Insulation, March Hair

Employee of the Year: Winner - Charlotte Clifford of March Hair; Finalists - Phil Daffern of Hinckley and Rugby Building Society, Rebecca Donal of London Calling

Long-standing Business of the Year: Winner - Keyturn Training; Finalists - Manor Farm Shop and Tea Rooms, Rugby Fitted Kitchens

Overall Business of the Year: Winner - Rugby Fitted Kitchens; Finalists - Automotive Insulations, The Garden Gate
