Burglars have targeted properties in Vicarage Hill, Clifton three times in the past fortnight.

At just after 1.30am on Friday August 1, intruders broke into a shed at a home after breaking down fencing to get into the rear garden. They then stole two bicycles and rode off on them towards Rugby.

During the night of Monday August 4 into Tuesday 5, offenders attempted to get into a garage at a home in Vicarage Hill, Clifton - but the attempt failed to get in and nothing was stolen. They then broke down a fence into the rear garden and broke into the shed. Several items were stolen.

During the same night, offenders broke into a garage and a shed in the rear garden of another home on Vicarage Hill. Nothing is believed to have been stolen.

Julie Dale of Warwickshire Police said: “Please remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity at homes in your area and please report anything unusual, or of concern, to police on 101.”
