Car catches fire on M6 near Rugby

Two fire engines attended the incident

Firefighters were called to a car fire at junction 1 of the M6 at Rugby at 5.58pm yesterday (Thursday).

Two fire engines attended the incident, with crews wearing breathing apparatus using a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The car was severely damaged.

Crews had returned to their station by 7.30pm. There are no reports of any injuries.
