Concern has been raised about the positioning of a CCTV camera in the changing rooms at Rugby’s new leisure centre.
Matt Dymond spotted the camera whilst getting changed with his children at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre.
He said: “I had questioned its possible purposes and can find no logical answer.
“If it’s for security then it should have been wall mounted and unable to see inside the booth.”
But leisure centre bosses said the camera is positioned to face the lockers.
A Rugby Borough Council spokesman said: “The camera is situated outside the changing rooms and has a fixed view of the lockers. The camera does not point towards the changing areas and is there to protect customers’ property.”
