A day of fundraising took place yesterday (Wednesday) when staff from across the site came together to raise money for the much-loved colleague.
Contract manager at Pertemps, Michelle Millican, said it was important that Vitor knew his colleagues were thinking about him.
“Everybody was shocked when we heard news of what had happened and all of our thoughts have been with Vitor and his family ever since,” she said.

A wide range of activities took place on the day including cake sales, raffles and games with prizes donated by Pertemps, DHL and Sainsbury’s among other businesses from the surrounding areas.
Colleagues also donated raffle prizes to help raise as much money as possible.
