Much-loved Rugby doctor Peter Miller has died. He passed away after respiratory problems on Sunday.

He was a well respected doctor, who was married to former Rugby mayor Pru Miller.

Born in Malta, Dr Miller, also an author, founded the Rupert Brooke Centenary Committee. His family, who have described Dr Miller as one of life’s true gentleman, say everyone who knew him is welcome to his funeral. It takes place on June 16 at St Mark’s Church in Bilton at 2pm. Family flowers only. Donations to Rugby First Responders. Email your tributes to lucie.green@rugbyadvertiser.co.uk and see next week’s edition for a full tribute and pictures.
