Cyclist injured during collision with car in Rugby

A cyclist has been injured in a collision with a car in Rugby.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Dunchurch Road and Orson Leys, Rugby at 5.45pm on Sunday.

A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The cyclist, a man in his twenties, had concussion and abrasions to his face, limbs and pelvic area.

“He was immobilised and was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
